The way we interact with markets is changing.

We’re moving into an agentic era of finance — where assets are programmable, accessible, and live onchain ⚙️ And some are even powered by AI. xStocks is part of that shift.
It brings U.S. equities onchain, with 100+ tokenized stocks already available across DEXs and CEXs — including names like GOOGLx and TSLAx 📈
With the recent Byreal partnership, enabling AI agents to trade equities onchain, now it is getting smarter.

And adoption is real:

💰 $27B in trading volume
👥 105K+ unique holders
🏆 8 of the top 11 tokenized equities by holders are xStocks

This isn’t just another narrative — it’s infrastructure for the next generation of markets.

Now there’s a way to participate beyond just trading.

⚡️ MARA's $1.5 Billion Transformation into an Energy Company

💰 MARA Holdings, a Bitcoin miner, has entered into an agreement to acquire the gas power plant Long Ridge Energy & Power from FTAI Infrastructure for $1.5 billion. The deal includes Long Ridge's debt of $785 million, with the remainder covered by cash and a loan from Barclays.

📊 According to MARA, the asset is expected to generate approximately $144 million in annual adjusted EBITDA based on the second half of 2025. The company plans to build an integrated digital infrastructure campus with a capacity of over 1 GW on the site.
Long Ridge is a highly efficient contracted energy platform

said MARA's CEO Fred Thiel,
that combines generation, fuel supply, network connectivity, land, water, and fiber optics in one location.

🗓 In February, MARA announced its shift towards data centers while reporting a $1.7 billion loss for the fourth quarter of 2025. The company aims to transform from a pure Bitcoin miner into an energy and digital structure. On March 30, MARA sold 15,133 BTC for $1.1 billion to repurchase its bonds.

📈 On April 30, MARA's shares closed up nearly 12% at around $12, increasing by 54% over the past six months. MARA is the second-largest public miner by operational hash rate (61.7 EH/s) and remains the leader in Bitcoin production, mining 736 BTC in April.

🪙 SEC Commissioner Calls for Caution in Cryptocurrency Regulation Amid Retail Trading Surge

🗣 Hester Peirce, a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), emphasized the need for regulators to understand the role of cryptocurrencies in retail trading before implementing new rules. She linked cryptocurrencies to exchange-traded funds (ETFs), options, prediction markets, and perpetual futures.

📈 Peirce stated that regulators should grasp the dynamics of evolving markets before deciding on the necessity of new regulations. Retail investors continue to trade cryptocurrencies, metals, ETFs, and perpetual futures through simplified digital platforms. Jurisdictional limitations may impact future SEC oversight as cryptocurrency-related investment products expand.

Retail investors love to trade all these asset classes and more, including cryptocurrency, gold, silver, and perpetual futures,

Peirce said.

⚖️ Legal constraints were central to Peirce's address. She asserted that the SEC must operate within the laws set by Congress when responding to the emergence of new products and technologies. These jurisdictional limitations may influence how cryptocurrency companies, ETF sponsors, and other market participants seek access to the regulated market.

❗️ Solayer Pay launches Visa card for USDC

📣 Solayer, the layer-1 blockchain developer behind the infiniSVM network, announced the launch via GlobeNewswire on May 14. The card links directly to a user’s Solayer Pay balance and can be used at any Visa-accepting merchant globally.

⚡️ “Crypto payments only become meaningful when they integrate naturally into everyday life,” said Margie Feng, Marketing Lead at Solayer. “The physical card brings stablecoin spending into familiar payment experiences while keeping users connected to the speed and efficiency of onchain infrastructure.”

🔖 Users can order the card through the Solayer Pay app on mobile or web. Existing account holders receive the card at no cost. New users must first apply for a Solayer Pay account and pay a $20 annual activation fee. The launch builds on Solayer Pay’s history in the space. The platform originally debuted in April 2025 as the Emerald Card, a virtual Visa card integrated with Apple Pay and Google Pay that reached 40,000 users across more than 100 countries before this physical expansion.

💬 The Solayer card arrives as stablecoin payment infrastructure expands rapidly. Visa and Stripe’s Bridge expanded their stablecoin card program to 18 countries in March 2026, with plans to reach more than 100 countries by year end. Visa’s broader stablecoin settlement pilot grew to $7 billion across nine blockchains as institutional partners treat on-chain settlement as a primary option rather than a test.

❗️ Ripple backs Squid’s $6M round to simplify cross-chain crypto

➡️ Cross-chain platform Squid raised $6 million in strategic funding to build new consumer-facing products that simplify how users move assets across blockchains. North Island Ventures led the round, with Ripple, Dialectic, Borderless, Scenius Capital, Altos, and Arche Capital also participating. Angel investors including Axelar co-founder Georgios Vlachos, Enso Finance founder Connor Howe, and Constructive founder Dan Lynch joined as well. Squid’s pseudonymous co-founder Fig declined to disclose the valuation or round structure.

🔖 Squid’s application allows users to move assets across fundamentally different blockchain ecosystems, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, and the XRP Ledger, in a single transaction. Squid serves as the official bridge partner for the XRP Ledger and operates a validator on the network, making Ripple’s investment a natural extension of an existing relationship.

⚠️ Since launching in January 2023, Squid has processed over $6 billion in volume through more than 4 million transactions across over one million users. Its execution layer, Squid Intents, uses market makers to fill cross-chain transactions and settles them through trusted execution environments rather than requiring smart contract deployments on every chain. That architecture lets the platform support more than 100 networks.

📌 Coldcard MK5 ships with 5 major wallet upgrades

⚡️ Coinkite launched the Coldcard MK5 on March 10, 2026, marking the company’s first hardware revision to the MK line since the MK4 arrived in 2022 and introducing five significant user experience improvements to its Bitcoin-only signing device. “The MK5 isn’t just an update; it’s a reimagining of the user experience,” said NVK, co-founder of Coinkite. “More durable, visible, and intuitive, all while preserving the rock-solid security our users depend on to protect their Bitcoin.”

The headline hardware change is a 1.54-inch display protected by Gorilla Glass, replacing the previous screen with one that is visibly sturdier and more legible. The MK4 used recessed buttons that required fingertips to press into a socket to register a click. The MK5 redesign brings buttons nearly flush with the chassis, giving clear tactile feedback without the awkward finger positioning of the previous model.

🔔 NFC capability has also been upgraded, improving the reliability of wireless signing workflows introduced in the Coldcard Q. The device retains the dual secure element design, pairing chips from two different manufacturers alongside a microcontroller, the same security architecture that set the MK4 apart when it launched. The MK5’s transparent case allows users to visually inspect the device’s internals for hardware implants, a feature Coinkite has emphasised as a physical security advantage over opaque designs.

📌 Dragonfly holds ZEC as Orchard bug debate raises new questions

❗️ Dragonfly partner Haseeb Qureshi said the market may be treating the bug as a larger immediate threat than the available evidence supports. He also said Dragonfly continues to hold ZEC, even as developers, investors, and privacy advocates debate what the flaw could have allowed before it was fixed.

📣 According to Qureshi, the critical issue was not whether the vulnerability was serious, but where its impact would likely have stayed. He said the bug could have allowed someone to create counterfeit ZEC inside the Orchard shielded pool, but he argued that those coins would face a major obstacle once an attacker tried to sell them.

🚫 In Qureshi’s view, an attacker would eventually need to move counterfeit shielded ZEC into transparent ZEC before using major exchanges. Since transparent ZEC can be checked against the public supply, he said any attempt to move inflated amounts into visible circulation would be easier for the network to catch.

⚠️ For that reason, Qureshi said regular exchange users and many traders likely had limited direct exposure. He placed the largest risk on users who kept funds inside the shielded pool while the vulnerability existed.

🔔 Ripple targets AI agents with XRP as USDC dominates payments

➡️ Ripple has introduced tools that let AI agents use XRP and RLUSD for payments at a time when USDC continues to dominate activity on the fast-growing x402 machine-payment network. The launch adds support for x402 payments using XRP and Ripple USD (RLUSD), placing Ripple into a market where stablecoin-based transactions currently account for most activity.

⚠️ The initial release includes access to the XRPL Docs MCP Server, which allows AI applications such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and custom agent frameworks to retrieve XRP Ledger documentation when needed. Ripple also introduced wallet and payment tools for Claude that support wallet creation, balance checks, transaction tracking, and payments.

🚫 Ripple said AI agents are already being used to pay for computing resources, settle invoices, and complete transactions. The company argued that existing payment systems were built around human approvals and reconciliation processes, making them less suitable for autonomous software that needs transactions to settle automatically.

🔔 Philippine SEC embraces tokenization as sandbox bets expand

📌 Speaking at Philippine Blockchain Week 2026, SEC Commissioner Rogelio Quevedo said the regulator is now confident that existing laws and its regulatory framework can accommodate tokenized assets.

📣 According to Quevedo, the SEC believes tokenization can introduce new forms of capital market activity and could eventually transform how securities are issued and traded. During the event, Quevedo said the agency had reached a point where it was comfortable overseeing tokenized products within the country’s existing legal structure. He added that asset tokenization could encourage financial innovation while creating new opportunities for investors and market participants.

⚠️ The comments come as the SEC continues to expand its use of StratBox, a regulatory sandbox that allows financial technology firms to test products and business models under direct supervision.

❗️ Cathie Wood says global instability will ignite Bitcoin’s next surge

🔖 According to a June 27 X post by ARK Invest founder Cathie Wood, capital leaving economically and politically unstable countries is likely to provide fresh momentum for Bitcoin and other digital assets. In her post, Wood said AI has launched a technological revolution and is attracting substantial investment, but described digital assets as a form of “insurance policy” for protecting wealth when confidence in traditional financial systems weakens.

⚡️ She linked this view to growing capital outflows from less stable nations, saying those flows could “light another fire” under Bitcoin and the broader digital asset market. Rather than competing directly, Wood suggested AI and crypto serve different purposes in today’s investment landscape. While AI companies continue drawing fresh capital because of their growth prospects, she argued that Bitcoin addresses a separate need by offering an alternative store of value that can move across borders more easily than many traditional assets.

🔗 Her comments come as investors continue weighing geopolitical tensions, inflation concerns, currency weakness in several regions, and uncertainty surrounding monetary policy. According to Wood, these conditions are increasing demand for assets that can preserve purchasing power while remaining accessible outside domestic financial systems.

🔔 Binance outflows triple as ETH withdrawals hit 3-year high

➡️ Binance recorded about $1.23 billion in net outflows during the week beginning June 29, according to DefiLlama data reported by Cointelegraph. The figure was up 207% from about $400 million in the previous week. The exchange also recorded about $3.2 billion in monthly net outflows. The move showed that users were moving more funds away from the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume.

🔖 CryptoQuant community analyst Darkfost said the level had not been seen in more than three years. The spike marked the highest Binance ETH withdrawal transaction count since March 2023.
Darkfost said the move “could reflect genuine demand building around the $1,500 level.” He said some investors may have taken exposure and moved funds off the exchange instead of keeping them ready for short-term trading.

📣 Exchange withdrawals can suggest long-term holding when users move assets into private wallets. Still, the data does not confirm one clear reason. Some withdrawals may also come from short-term positioning, risk control or platform changes.

📌 Saylor’s orange dot sparks fresh buy-or-sell mystery at Strategy

⚠️ Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor has renewed speculation about the company’s next Bitcoin transaction. In a July 12 post, he shared Strategy’s familiar acquisition chart and wrote, Orange dots tell only part of the story. The chart marks past Bitcoin purchases, but the message did not say whether Strategy had bought, sold, or taken no action during the latest reporting period.

🔖 Saylor has often posted the chart before Strategy publishes a Monday filing. Traders once treated those posts as signals of another purchase. That pattern became less reliable after the company began selling Bitcoin in 2026. The latest message therefore leaves two possible readings: Strategy may have resumed accumulation, or Saylor may be pointing to a wider capital plan that now includes selective sales.

💭 The filing said Strategy used the proceeds to fund preferred stock distributions and restore money taken from its dollar reserve. That reserve stood at $2.55 billion on July 5. Strategy also said its separate Bitcoin monetization program still had capacity to raise up to $1.25 billion. The company reported no common stock sales or share repurchases during the same week.

🌐 Solana price stalls below $80 as exploits test fragile recovery

‼️ Solana price has stalled near $76 after repeated failures at $80, as two ecosystem exploits, weak momentum, and geopolitical stress have kept traders cautious. According to data from cryptonews, Solana price traded at $76.12 at the time of writing, down 0.34% on the daily candle after moving between $75.50 and $77.40. The token has gained only about 0.3% over the past seven days, compared with a 3% rise across the global crypto market.

🔗 Another attack hit Allbridge Core on July 20. cryptonews reported that the exploiter borrowed $1.12 million in USDC through Kamino, manipulated the protocol’s USDC-USDT pool and extracted more than $1.1 million before routing the funds through privacy tools. Some estimates placed the total liquidity loss near $1.65 million, while Allbridge paused the protocol and began investigating the incident.

⚡️ The daily chart places the main resistance at $79.96, where SOL’s early-July recovery failed, and sellers pushed the price back toward $75. A daily close above $80 would clear the psychological barrier and reopen the route toward the July swing high around $83, followed by the $90–$98 region.
