I proudly present to you:
Quick Charge 9.0
Ayo, we know it's been pretty silent since the rebrand. But we're still around and working on original features. Because we don't need yet another kang ROM :)

On that note, any requests? Not everything can/will be realised, but we will consider everything!
Hey, if anyone in the audience knows how to do animations and has some free time to spend for an open source project, please contact us! We need a proper boot animation.

We have something preliminary but it doesn't look too great.
Translations are up & running again! If you want the initial release to be in your language, make sure to get started!

Feature tour of our new Jellyfish browser! (Based on Fulguris)
Hey everyone!
Usually, ROMs provide either Vanilla or Gapps builds. Often, the maintainer can decide which one is getting built for your device.
When a ROM does not provide Gapps builds, the OTA experience can be problematic. Or the user might flash incompatible/bad gapps.
We have a solution for that: Unified builds! Our setup wizard asks you if you want Vanilla, Gapps or microG, and after one reboot, everything is ready!
Please tell us what you think in the comments below.

*This does not download Gapps or microG from the internet. Both are included in the ZIP but excluded from being scanned (NOT only disabled) for a better experience
*Users can not flash custom gapps packages, as that will break our system. Just like on normal Gapps builds
We have ported the open-source text-to-speech "Pico TTS" from AOSP 7 to Android 12.1! Users can now enjoy a preinstalled text-to-speech for
- English (USA)
- English (GB)
- German
- French
- Spanish
- Italian

Users from other languages are encouraged to use RHVoice from F-Droid, which does not support the languages listed above.

What do you prefer?
To explain a little more: if earlier gets chosen, the features will simply be added with later updates, not dropped.
Our website is up again :)

If you find any mistakes or browser incompatibilities, please let us know ;)
And yes, the downloads link is dead on purpose.

Thanks to all the work we did in Android 12, porting features won't be too hard. Please let us know if you would rather have us focus on Android 13 ASAP or if we should finish Android 12 and release it.

Because we're too late we might as well just delay the release for even more time and do Android 13
We are happy to announce that we are starting working on Android 13 soonTM!
I am a few days late, however:
droid-ng is now 1 year old!
This project was founded on the 1st October 2021 as Project Materium based on the ashes of StellarOS and we have been releasing nothing inventing awesome features ever since!

I would like to thank all the team members for their support.
@brvn01, it's fun to work with you and it's great that we can discuss everything!
@Qirkl, we all love your awesome designs (including our logo), keep it up!
@Megh888, you provided us with wallpapers since back in StellarOS days, and I still love every single of them!
@Sreedhar_Santhosh, your websites are great and we're excited to have you on board!

Honorable mentions: Ayoka_ACR for providing us with download and telegram integrations since the early days, Lambada10 for maintaining Poco X3 Pro (vayu) even though you never got a release, kiam001 for CI in the early days. Thank you!

I'm looking forward to an exiticing next year, and for our birthday, I have something exciting to announce as well! We joined the LibreMobileOS project! Our ROM will continue to exist as is, but we extend their build fleet by gapps builds and shiny new features while we base droid-ng on their ROM LMODroid and save work, meaning we can deliver more stuff to you users! (No it's not a company and we're not bought by anyone 😉)
If you have any questions, just ask us in the comments.

That's it for today, take care!
