I can relate to this. A teacher in Rondebosch boys told my son he wouldn't make it in high school. I enrolled him in a local school because I saw his potential when he assembled a radio using the components from a hobby shop at the age of 8 on his own. Today he is an engineer at a top engineering firm. Teachers must stop playing God's. Our system of education cannot test the intelligence of people with unique talents. Most of the A students are rote learners.
