Swiss Song of the Day 🇨🇭🛥: Der Prophet gilt im eigenen Land nichts.

Good Idea: Recognize the damaging effects of colonialism
https://atmos.earth/ipcc-report-colonialism-climate-change/
The IPCC's sixth assessment report acknowledges colonialism as a historical and ongoing driver of the climate crisis, highlighting its role in exacerbating vulnerability to climate impacts. This inclusion marks a significant step forward, recognizing the long-standing narrative of the climate justice movement. The report underscores the need for decolonization in shaping future climate policy, emphasizing Indigenous and local knowledge. Through increased representation of diverse voices and collaborative research efforts, the IPCC aims to address historical injustices and advance equitable climate solutions.
