Millionaires and billionaires already control the vast majority of wealth in the United States, and it's rapidly getting worse.
The greater the disparities, the less sense it makes for us to accept the social constructs—such as private property and money itself—that enable them to dominate us.
All around the world, power has accumulated in the hands of a small number of ruthless autocrats. Whatever ideologies they profess, the results are the same. This is the inevitable outcome of unbridled capitalism.
Under these conditions, it is naïve to imagine that we could obtain freedom and equality via anything short of revolution.

In the last few decades, we have
detected thousands of planets outside
of our solar system. They did not
suddenly appear at the time we found
them. No one calls it an "exoplanet
epidemic". The planets were always
there, just previously undiscovered.
This is a tweet about autism.

How AI data centres risk straining Switzerland’s water resources
Switzerland is often described as the “water tower of Europe”: a country with abundant lakes and glaciers, where some of the continent’s major rivers originate. But this abundance may be put to the test by the rapid expansion of data centres – the IT infrastructure that keeps the digital world running.

"Go into the arts. Im not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem toa friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as as you possible can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something."
