On January 1st, 1994 the EZLN (Zapatista Army of National Liberation) launched an armed insurrection in Chiapas against the Mexican state and the NAFTA Free Trade Agreement.
The Zapatistas are a resistance movement of indigenous villagers in the mountains and jungles of Chiapas, Mexico’s poorest and southern-most state.

Trump's attack on Venezuela is crafted to project strength at a time when he appears weak. Like Vladimir Putin, he aims to assert dominance over "his" region and to intimidate domestic adversaries.
This brings to mind the US invasion of Panama in 1989, but also the toppling of Saddam Hussein, both of which took place under Bush presidencies.
The latter destabilized Iraq, enabling the Islamic State to rise to power. Likewise, this attack will only intensify violence in Latin America.
We stand with Latin American anarchists in opposing the attack:

In einem mutmasslichen Bekennerschreiben übernimmt die "Vulkangruppe" die Verantwortung für einen Brandanschlag auf eine Kabelanlage beim Gaskraftwerk Lichterfelde (CO2-Schleuder) in Berlins Südwesten (Villenviertel Grunewald etc.). Der dadurch ausgelöste Stromausfall für tausende Haushalte war unbeabsichtigt.
Das Bekennerschreiben habe ich bisher nicht im Orginal gefunden.
