In light of the recent escalation in missing persons and abductions we would like to put out a general warning to everyone to please be vigilant at all times know your surroundings and make sure you know where your loved ones are at all times.
We will post some general safety tips and protocols to follow in case of an emergency or missing person:
1. Always be aware of your surroundings.
2. Trust your instincts.
If something doesn't feel right it isn't right.
3. Try and always use the buddy system where ever possible.
Do not travel alone.
4. Do not stop if you notice something odd on the road like someone waving or standing next to a car that looks like it's broken down.
Rather contact authorities or towing services.
5. If you suspect you are being followed drive directly to the nearest police station.
6. When walking to your car always keep a lookout for people acting suspicious. If you feel unsafe rather walk back to the shop and ask a security guard to escort you.
7. Always keep your car keys in your hand.
8. Look through the windows to make sure that there is no one in the car before you get in.
9. Always lock your doors immediately when you get in.
10. Don't draw large amounts of money at a ATM.
Especially when you are alone.
11. Always let someone know where you are going and at what time you can be expected back.
12. When traveling share your live location with a family member so that they can know at all times where you are.
13. Keep your phone charged and emergency and family members numbers on speed dail.
14. NEVER leave your kids unattended in a public place, car or outside.
15. If they go to friends rather take them and fetch them.
If you can't then be adamant that they keep you informed at all times where they are going, with who and what time the will be home.
In case of a missing person :
Please remember there is no such thing as a 24hour waiting period.
Report it immediately to your nearest SAPS and ask them for a OB number.
We will need this in order to do a missing persons report.
When reporting please be as specific with the details as possible.
Persons name, surname, age, hight, hair colour, eye colour and any distinctive marks such as tatoos or scars.
A description of the clothing they were last seen in, vehicle they were driving or place they were at.
Where they were heading if you know.
Time of disappearance and date.
Aswell as a contact number and name and surname of the person reporting it.
Along with a clear and recent foto of the persons face.

There are too many questions... And too few answers.

WI-FI DATA STOLEN BY NEIGHBORS...how to fix your problem
How are my stingy neighbors able to use my WiFi without appearing on the modem's access control list when I check who are logged on?
What you need to look at is the DHCP assignment list. The access control list is rules about who can use the service.
For troublesome neighbors I used the following procedure.
1) Change the password to something new and more complex and change the SSID name.
Update: change all passwords and disable guest access.
Log all your devices using the new credentials.
2) Change the list to access control list to white list devices. Only the devices in the list are allowed.
3) Add the Mac address of the devices you can identify as yours.
4) Apply the list and
reboot
Verify all YOUR devices are working and you're done
Update.

If you have only a small area to cover, turn down the power level.
Covering a 2 room apartment does not need even half power.
Hidden SSIDs are a waste of time, so don’t bother.
Remove all access via WEP and WPA.
Use only WPA-2
Disable WPS after you’re done using it.
