This is between Ermelo and Middelburg. The same thunderstorm is now in the Loskop valley area. Lots of thunder and rain.

Not out of the ordinary. We experienced this type of weather in 1998.

Farmers crops were destroyed and most of them put in claims against their assurance policies. Still you can not recover all the damages caused.

We think about the farming community on the Highveld. It is not nice to see your beautiful deep green, luscious crop turned into pieces of broken strips.
