Caught my husband 3 times today. One in Ermelo (pic included)
One in Standerton
One supposedly in Bloemfontein
(We did not fell for it but heard from Ermelo how many had been defrauded already) This is serious a case for the HAWKS. As this is nation wide. And they have many operators and women backing them up.
They defraud innocent vehicle buyers with this modus operandi. Thousands of people lost large amounts of money. This is how they operate:
1) Advertise a very new vehicle/bakkie/SUV on Marketplace Facebook for 5 times cheaper than the book value.
2) Their excuse: It is a repossessed vehicle.
3) Tell you they can take this car out of an auction(that does not exist) and keep it for you at a small deposit of R10000 or if you deposit the WHOLE amount in their FRAUD account, even better. (Many are falling for this)
4) They send company docs/proof of SARS/Fake ID copies of their fake business to potential buyers to make it seem ligit.
5) They request ID, Proof of Address, Banking details and copy of driver's license too from you (By this they can steal your identity too)
6) When you arrive at the destination, they provided, IT DOES NOT EXIST. Other real, innocent businesses addresses are provided.
7) They even send you a video from a parking area in a mall, claiming it is all their vehicles. (It is false )
8) When you deposited any money into their account they just disappear.
They are a few guys sitting in one location, we suspect Bronkhorstspruit and pretend to be in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Free State and other areas with fake Auction Names and addresses.
DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THESE GUYS. THEY ARE POTENT.
Beware of any transaction to buy any vehicle. NO MONIES SHOULD CHANGE HANDS if you did not inspect the vehicle in person.
Do private exchanges at police stations. Fraudsters avoid all police stations. That will be a first give away of their evil intentions.
Please warn EVERYONE everywhere.

Europe Has Itself To Blame For Gas Crisis - Erdogan
Turkey’s leader told journalists that “Europe is reaping what it sows” when it comes to the natural gas shortages, noting that countries’ attitude towards Russian President Vladimir Putin and the sweeping sanctions imposed on Moscow are to blame for the current crisis.
“I think that Europe will spend this winter with serious problems. Turkey, at this stage, has no such problems with gas supplies,” Erdogan said.
The Kremlin stated Monday that the sanctions imposed by the US, EU and other countries on Russia have backfired and resulted in a sweeping energy crisis as well as record inflation across the West.
