Re MASKS in shops - I just don’t wear them at all anymore. I tell people in shops that medical staff in surgery have to replace masks every 90 mins and the temp is low to keep bacteria in check unlike in real life conditions. Wearing masks is therefore bad for your health and helps breed bacteria so why would they be suggested to prevent COVID-19. I tell them that anyone telling us that we should wear masks for health reasons is therefore clearly telling a lie and that we all have to stand up against that lie starting from today! If they say they have to tell you this because it’s their job, I remind them that this is what people said In WW2 and apartheid. The people I tell this always freeze in the headlights. I also tell them about the red list - many of them don’t want to wear the masks and are unvaccinated and are happy to hear about it!
