When we are angry, in fear or live in a state of victimhood our brain as with anything has a chemical reaction. Depending on the situation it may release dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, adrenaline (epinephrine) and much, much more.
Here is the challenge... all of these reactions are fine in moderation and appropriate to the situation at hand, but when you live in a constant state of negativity or even worse or you ride the roller coaster of emotions then these reactions become unbalanced and ADDICTIVE... just like using a controlled substance.
These thoughts can even negatively affect the amount of Melatonin your Pineal gland secretes or how your pituitary gland responds to stress by releasing several unwanted hormones.
The GREAT NEWS is that you only need to change your thoughts to change your brain chemistry.
Next time you are feeling negative, angry, fearful or like a victim. You can make a CONSCIOUS CHOICE be positive. Jump up and down, smile, laugh, get some sun and understand the creator made the amazing YOU and YOU alone can change your brain.
If your knee jerk reaction to this advice is to tell me to go to hell… maybe, just maybe that drug is stronger than you think.
