🙄 Former Vice President Mike Pence will receive the 2025 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for certifying the 2020 election “results,” the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation announced Thursday.

In a statement announcing the foundation’s decision to present Pence with the award, Caroline Kennedy — the daughter of the former president — and Jack Schlossberg — Caroline Kennedy’s son — wrote that Pence’s decision on Jan. 6, 2021, was “an example of President Kennedy’s belief that an act of political courage can change the course of history.” 🥴

Kennedy and Schlossberg are set to present Pence with the award on May 4 at the Kennedy Library in Boston.

Radhika Jones will depart as editor in chief of Vanity Fair this spring, after more than seven years at the helm of the influential Condé Nast title.

Jones and Anna Wintour, Condé Nast chief content officer and global editorial director, informed staffers of Jones’ exit Thursday.

Jones, who joined Vanity Fair in November 2017, claimed that she had accomplished “virtually all” of the goals she had set for herself in taking on the EIC job, including “a vast and highly engaging social media audience,” entertainment projects with partners including FX, Amazon and Netflix; and “an epic party machine,” referring to the magazine’s annual Academy Awards afterparty.

ICYMI - DEI HIRE CONFIRMED🤣: Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, on Wednesday appeared to boast that her being Black was a big contributor to getting hired as a public defender with no experience.

Crockett relayed the story during a House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight meeting on corruption in the FBI under the Biden administration. She used it as an argument to defend diversity in law enforcement.

"When I first became a public defender, I had no criminal defense experience. I walked in, and I told my boss, Charlie, I said, ‘Listen, you should hire me.’ He said, ‘Why?’ I said, ‘Because I'm Black.’ Charlie looked at me like I was crazy," Crockett said.

🤨The CEO of a nonprofit that helps feed people in Minnesota is under the microscope for the salary she reportedly earned in one year.

The issue surrounds Second Harvest Heartland CEO Allison O’Toole, who apparently raked in $721,000 in 2022, Alpha News reported on Wednesday.

The article said her earnings came as the nonprofit lobbied for taxpayer funds and issued warnings about the problem of people going hungry across the state.

In January, a study — conducted by Second Harvest Heartland with a research organization — found that one in five households in Gov. Tim Walz’s (D) Minnesota are food insecure, per Fox 9.

A “city killer” asteroid experts feared was on a crash course with Earth is now expected to miss the planet — but it still has a chance of smashing into the moon.

Asteroid 2024 YR4, first detected in December 2024 and believed to have a 3% chance of hitting the Earth in 2032, now has a near-zero chance of striking Earth, NASA wrote in an update Wednesday.

When concerns about the asteroid — which scientists previously cautioned could be a “city killer” — were at an all-time high earlier this year, astronomer Andrew Rivkin conducted a five-hour observation of the space rock and found it may make impact elsewhere: the moon.

The football field-sized asteroid’s odds of striking the moon on Dec. 22, 2032, jumped from 1.7% in late February to 3.8% based on data collected using the James Webb Space Telescope.

While there’s still a 96.2% chance the asteroid will miss the satellite completely — if it were to make impact, it wouldn’t alter the moon’s orbit, according to experts at NASA’s Center for Near Earth Object Studies.

While the groups attempt to market their activism as a good-faith effort to defend so-called ‘civil and human rights,’ a deep dive into their financial backgrounds reveals their interests are far more partisan than they let on.

More than 40 left-wing organizations (and/or some of their affiliates) opposing Republican efforts to prevent noncitizen voting in U.S. elections have collectively received more than $150 million from groups funded by leftist billionaire George Soros, a new analysis reveals.

On March 28, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights (LCCHR) released a letter directed at members of Congress, asking them to oppose the GOP-sponsored SAVE Act, which aims to close existing loopholes in federal law that foreign nationals could exploit to register and cast ballots in U.S. elections. As described by InfluenceWatch, LCCHR “serves as an umbrella organization for over 200 mostly left-wing organizations which lobby and advocate before Congress and other federal agencies on legislation and Presidential appointments to the executive departments and judiciary.”

The 112 left-wing organizations that signed onto the aforementioned letter “strongly” urged congressional representatives to “oppose” the SAVE Act, which they falsely claimed, “represents a shameful, divisive attempt to prevent millions of eligible U.S. citizens — disproportionately Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, and other voters of color — from registering to vote.” The groups specifically parroted faux Democrat talking points that basic voting safeguards such as documentary proof of citizenship requirements are “onerous,” “harmful,” and “designed to restrict participation by lawfully registered voters.”

You know what Rand Paul spent the last 5 years doing?

- Claiming the 2020 election wasn't stolen

- Voting to certify the stolen 2020 election

- Saying almost nothing about America's corrupt county election systems

- Not being MAGA or AF but constantly talking in what I call "Con Inc. Media doublespeak" to "Conservative GOP".

So if your surprised he's 100% against Trump leveling the playing field with reciprocal tariffs in the very unfair and very undeclared TRADE WAR we've been in with other countries for decades, you haven't been paying attention.

He's exactly like Massie.

He's gonna stand directly in front of Trump's MAGA/MAHA/AF agenda and strike a most noble and courageous pose as he dramatically raises his hand and yells "STOP!"

While expecting applause and acclaim to be lavished upon him for his most principled stand!

Somehow I don't think this is going to go the way he expects it to.

BREAKING🚨: Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum, will “start the process” of stepping down as chair of its board of trustees, weeks after the organisation promised an overhaul after an investigation into workplace discrimination.

In a letter to trustee board members, which has been seen by the Financial Times and confirmed by two people with knowledge of the situation, Schwab said the forum, which hosts the elite business conference in Davos, must recover its “sense of mission” after a period of turmoil.

“I am deeply convinced that in today’s special context the forum is more important and relevant than ever before,” he said in an internal email to the trustees sent on Tuesday.

“It is also financially very well equipped thanks to successful financial management since its beginning. What is essential now after the turmoil of the last months, is to recover our sense of mission,” he said, without specifying if the upheaval he was referring to was in response to Donald Trump’s second presidential term or the investigation of WEF.

US District Judge James Boasberg said Thursday that he is looking at whether “probable cause” exists to hold Trump administration officials in contempt for violating his orders halting the use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport alleged Venezuelan gang members.

The comments from Boasberg mark a significant escalation in a standoff between the administration and the chief judge of the trial-level court in Washington, DC, over deportation flights it allowed to continue last month despite his orders that the government turn the planes around immediately pending a legal challenge to Trump’s use of the sweeping wartime authority.

European Union regulators are preparing major penalties against Elon Musk’s social media platform X for breaking a landmark law to combat illicit content and disinformation, said four people with knowledge of the plans, a move that is likely to ratchet up tensions with the United States by targeting one of President Trump’s closest advisers.

The penalties are set to include a fine and demands for product changes, said the people, who declined to be identified discussing an ongoing investigation. These are expected to be announced this summer and will be the first issued under a new E.U. law intended to force social media companies to police their services, they said.

The Trump administration on Wednesday implored a federal judge in Washington, D.C., to dismiss a lawsuit filed by Perkins Coie which accuses the president of unlawfully targeting the Hillary Clinton-linked law firmin an executive order last month as retaliation for its representation of his perceived “political enemies.”

In a 34-page motion to dismiss, the Justice Department asserts that Trump’s order merely lays out his “concerns” about Perkins Coie “in matters related to election integrity, national security, and discriminatory employment practices.”

“The Executive Order directs agencies to do what they should already be doing, declines to contract with entities who act inconsistently with valid social policies regarding discrimination, and calls for the lawful examination of security clearances and government access of employees of Plaintiff’s firm,” the motion states.
