“Details of prosecutors’ battles to obtain testimony from high-level White House aides to Donald Trump may soon become public, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday…

“The district court’s decision was correct when it issued. But things have changed,” the judges declared. “There is little doubt that the Office of Special Counsel’s disclosure of the privilege disputes substantively and materially changed the state of play in this case and its impact on the merits of Politico’s request for disclosure should be considered.”
It was not immediately clear whether Smith would appeal the decision to the full bench of the D.C. Circuit or to the Supreme Court. If the ruling stands, it is likely to result in a more detailed look at the secretive battles that prosecutors fought in order to secure testimony from figures like former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows, White House Counsel Pat Cipollone and top aides to former Vice President Mike Pence.”

Energy Department hasn't explained why U.S. grant went to Iranian professor at sanctioned school

The Energy Department has yet to provide an explanation for sending U.S. grant money to an Iranian professor at a sanctioned Iranian school.

A grant from the department's Solar Energy Technologies Office, includes Mohammed Hasan Ravanji, a professor at the Sharif University of Technology, as one of its authors. The U.S. sanctioned the school as an entity that has helped the Iranian regime with its nuclear program.

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm was pressed about the grant at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing last week.

In Trump trial, Manhattan DA Bragg's hocus-pocus case exposed on first day

Hocus-pocus is a meaningless distraction or illusion that is intended to fool. That neatly summarizes District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against Donald Trump. The DA hopes to snooker a Manhattan jury into convicting the former president with a bag of legal tricks.

In most courtrooms, the chicanery would never work. But in this Trump-hating venue the defendant’s jury of purported peers are likely predisposed to accept magic for magic’s sake. They may want to believe there’s no white rabbit behind Bragg’s back, despite the pink ears peaking around his coat.

The first sleight of hand happened the moment the lead prosecutor addressed jurors during opening statements on Monday. Assistant DA Matthew Colangelo (formerly Joe Biden’s number three official at the Justice Department) told the panel, "This case is about a criminal conspiracy." Really?

I need to take a moment to give a thank you, my frens.

This person I wanna thank is not just a “mod” or an “admin”, but instead someone who has become a good friend and someone who I respect greatly in this movement. She never stops, and her ability to find and disseminate news from all over is unmatched IMO.

That person is @MeHallman (Dot Connecting Anon). THANK YOU! 🙏🏻

She is an admin on this channel, and often times when I am in the weeds with my own work, she makes sure the channel keeps humming along - including keeping it quite active while I was away at GART this past week.

Thank you so very much, my fren. I appreciate you to no end! 💚🐸🙏🏻
ICYMI🔥: Rand Paul Demands Answers on Dangerous Biolabs

Recently, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), one of the real heroes of the U.S. Senate, announced a bipartisan Senate investigation into the origins of COVID-19. The investigation, co-chaired by Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI), promises to once and for all settle the question about the origins of COVID-19. Additionally, and as importantly, the duo is pledging to take a hard look at threats posed by dangerous biolabs world-wide.

According to a press release from Sen. Paul’s office, the Paul-Peters bipartisan effort pledges “to assess and identify measures to mitigate longstanding and emerging risks and threats that may result in serious biological incidents – whether deliberate, accidental, or natural.”

Additionally, the investigation promises to “seek to increase transparency and strengthen oversight of taxpayer-funded life sciences research, laboratories in the U.S. and abroad, and the detection of biological threats.”

All we gotta do is simply follow the lead of President Trump. 🎻
The 'pink-haired liberal' has become something of a stereotype, but AI can now predict someone's politics based solely on their looks.

A new program can spot tiny nuances in people's facial features that correlate to their political leaning - with over 70 percent accuracy.

It was trained on hundreds of photos and voting habits of Americans.

The results found that liberals tended to have smaller lower faces, their chins were smaller and their lips and noses pointed downward, while conservatives have larger, wider features in the lower halves of their faces.

In his campaign to block a Houston-area guaranteed basic income program, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) is betting that third time’s the charm.

On Tuesday, Paxton’s office filed an emergency petition to the Supreme Court of Texas, calling on justices to block Harris County’s basic income program, Uplift Harris.

“Harris County officials cannot continue to abuse their power and the people’s money to score political points, and we will fight every step of the way to hold them accountable,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.

Pecker has testified that the National Enquirer pushed negative articles about Trump's opponents in the 2016 GOP primary, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. The publishing executive was just asked about an Enquirer article claiming that the Republican lawmaker's father, Rafael Cruz, associated with Lee Harvey Oswald before the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963.

Pecker claimed that former Enquirer editor-in-chief Dylan Howard and the magazine's research department had worked on the article. "We mashed the photos and the different picture with Lee Harvey Oswald ... we mashed the two together," Pecker testified. "That's how that story was prepared — created, I would say."

In the heat of the 2016 GOP primary, Trump pointed to that Enquirer article to support his conspiracy theory, saying that the tabloid's claim that it had photographic evidence of a link between the elder Cruz and Oswald was credible.

A former cameraman for Megan Thee Stallion who alleges that he was trapped inside a moving vehicle with the hip-hop star in a foreign country while she had sex with a woman has filed a lawsuit accusing the entertainer of harassment and a hostile work environment.

Emilio Garcia said in the suit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court that after the alleged incident he was warned, “don’t ever discuss what you saw,” and berated, fat-shamed and treated differently by Megan.

The “harassment was so severe or pervasive” that it created a “hostile, abusive work environment” that made Garcia’s “working conditions intolerable,” the suit said.

Representatives for Megan Thee Stallion and her management company, Roc Nation, did not immediately respond to NBC News requests for comment.
