The Chill Coding Lounge
My first ever mini-side project which I created to learn React (specifically useReducer)
While it may be simple, I feel quite happy as I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and somewhat overcame imposter syndrome for it (Dramatic I know but still😂)
Take a look and let me know what you think (React based questions btw)
Also responsive so it should work well on mobile devices.

Just finished building Intellectra — it’s live! 🚀
I kept seeing people (myself included) stuck on “what to build next.” So I made something for that.
Intellectra gives you real project ideas pulled from what's trending on Reddit, TikTok, X — not random stuff, but actual signals.

Let's talk solutions, shall we? Esti check if you're one or more types of lazy you are below.
1. Are You a Procrastinator?
You know what you should do. You even want the results... But you keep waiting for the "perfect moment" to start.
2. Is Fear Holding You Back?
Your laziness isn’t laziness. It’s lowk fear in disguise. Fear of failing, fear of judgment, fear of not being enough.
3. Do You Feel Overwhelmed?
Too much to do = mental shutdown. You escape into distractions (scrolling, gaming) because starting feels impossible.
4. Are You Too Comfortable?
Your lifestyle avoids discomfort. You’re "soft"—and it’s making you weak without you realizing it.
5. Do You Lack Purpose?
No "why" = no effort. When work feels meaningless, laziness wins.
I know this is a huge bite to chew on... Especially if you're overwhelmed already. Just take it slow. Pull out a piece of paper, sit down and try to go through each question. Better yet, let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

1. Are You a Procrastinator?
You know what you should do. You even want the results... But you keep waiting for the "perfect moment" to start.
✅ The 2-Minute Rule: If a task takes less than 2 minutes, do it now.
✅ Momentum > Motivation: Start absurdly small. Action fuels more action.
2. Is Fear Holding You Back?
Your laziness isn’t laziness. It’s lowk fear in disguise. Fear of failing, fear of judgment, fear of not being enough.
✅ Fear is a compass. It points toward what you need to do.
✅ Reframe failure: Every misstep is data, not destiny.
✅ Daily micro-bravery: Do one tiny thing that scares you (e.g., send that email, make that call).
3. Do You Feel Overwhelmed?
Too much to do = mental shutdown. You escape into distractions (scrolling, gaming) because starting feels impossible.
✅ The Rule of 3: Pick just 3 non-negotiable tasks daily.
✅ 90-minute deep work: Block time for your #1 priority. No distractions.
✅ Progress > perfection. Done is better than perfect.
4. Are You Too Comfortable?
Your lifestyle avoids discomfort. You’re "soft"—and it’s making you weak without you realizing it.
✅Embrace voluntary hardship, like:
💪 Cold showers.
💪 Hard workouts.
💪 Fasting.
✅ Say YES to difficult opportunities.
5. Do You Lack Purpose?
No "why" = no effort. When work feels meaningless, laziness wins.
✅ Define your mission:
✏️ What do you want your life to stand for?
✏️ Who do you need to become?
✅ Mental Shift: Turn "I have to" into "I get to."
I know this is a huge bite to chew on... Especially if you're overwhelmed already. Just take it slow. Pull out a piece of paper, sit down and try to go through each question. Better yet, let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Hey you guys, it’s the end of the month — you know that TikTok sound that goes like “Wake up, it’s the first of the month” — Yeah, I’m doing that, but the opposite. It’s the end of the month, and I wanted to do a little recap.
A recap of May, may all your wishes come true — well, I sound like a genie. Anyway, I think this might be my favorite month so far. A lot happened. It was also a busy month — tasks piling up like crazy. I’m still trying to navigate through them, but honestly, I like being busy. I like keeping myself occupied, so I have nothing to complain about.
There are so many days this month that I’ll probably celebrate as anniversaries, because I want to remember them for years to come. Some days felt like real pivot points in my life — so እግዚአብሔር ይመስገን.
Another quick recap — Daily Dot — I’ll be adding features like notifications and habit categorization. And of course, more colors :) — I’m putting this here as my accountability mirror (reference: Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins).
The Other incredible thing that happened was the love you guys gave me for Daily Dot — I’ll always be grateful. Thank you! I’ve just started my journey with Flutter — Daily Dot is actually my fourth app. You might remember the Easter Trivia app. I also made an app for Adwa — actually will be posting it here, since the app was created before the channel lol
I went to the ETEX event — it was cool and all. Met some awesome people. I’ve been trying to get back into drawing. I was sketching again but… I’ve kinda lost my touch
Also went to the closing event of TechTonic Tribe at Debre Berhan University — a tribute to where it all started. Such an amazing experience.
Besides that, the last two weeks have been reflective for me — especially about the purpose of this channel. I want it to be worth your time. I want this to be a space where I can show my growth — and also show how flawed I am as a human being.
Movies and books of the month — I can’t remember all the movies I watched (maybe next time I’ll keep a list), but for books:
- Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney — 2.5/5. Wouldn’t recommend. It kind of glorifies cheating (not a spoiler, don’t worry).
- Currently reading The Guest List by Lucy Foley (thriller) — so far, so good :)
Things to keep in mind:
- GOD LOVES YOU REGARDLESS — regardless of your sins — you are worthy of His love.
- Be comfortable in your own company — don’t let your happiness be at the mercy of others.
- Everybody is going through something — we’re all fighting our own battles — so BE KIND.

TL;DR: You can focus on these key takeaways. Everything else is just me blabbing about my month :)
