Anyone here ever had a wife or girlfriend, who you give objectively HUGE things,
but then she acts like a poor impoverish victim who never got anything from you, unless you give her 100x more?
E.g. the girl you pay all bills for, for years, and then she screams financial abuse unless you buy her a multi-million dollar house right now?
— The dating advice call this “framing”, i.e. letting her “control the frame”, i.e. “anchoring” as sales guys call it
e.g. letting her say that the proper reference point the insane reference point of giving her millions, which you fall well SHORT of — instead of a sane reference point of what is usually given, which you are way ABOVE
^^ So, the above kind of anti-trump whining IMO is the exact same frame manipulation as a spoiled manipulating wife or girlfriend would do

Trump so far has gone FAR beyond that — and in a sane framing, that already is very unusual, and something that should be celebrated
— In part because presidents are largely just symbols, a symbol of what the people want, because the society at large has the real power, not the president
But, expecting the president to have king-like power?
— Either you’re doing framing manipulation, or you’re an absolute fool
