Massive cloud of smoke seen rising from the port of Bandar Abbas in Southern Iran, following this morning’s explosion which according to Iranian sources is believed to have been caused by an out-of-control fire coming in contact with a single and/or several chemicals being improperly stored by Iranian Port Authorities. The chemicals which the fire came in contact with are believed to have either been a high-explosive fertilizer like ammonium nitrate and/or a compound used in the production of solid rocket fuel such as sodium perchlorate, both of which are known to come through the port of Bandar Abbas via China.
