NEW: TikToker Chris Olsen says he narrowly escaped death after a lunatic on the New York City subway pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed someone.

Olsen, who has over 13M followers on the app, says the incident started when two men started shouting at each other.

"We just basically witnessed a stabbing and almost died on the subway ourselves."

It's unclear what station Olsen was at however there were multiple stabbings around the time the video was posted.

According to the New York Post, there were four stabbings around the time the video was shared, including one in the early morning of New Year's Day where a 31-year-old man was stabbed on the No. 2 train at the 14th Street station.
