India's Prime Minister Modi will visit China for the first time in 7 years following Trump's imposition of tariffs on Russian oil purchases, Reuters reports citing a source.
Modi will attend the SCO summit, which includes Russia, starting on August 31 in Tianjin.
This will be "another sign of diplomatic thawing in relations with Beijing amid rising tensions with the United States."
