Probably caused by the dude who coined the word “meme” being a retard and trying to change and shape the word into some meaningless bs over the years, instead of allowing the linguistically useful concept he accidentally discovered take control
Real words are discovered, not invented
No different than Satoshi, who half-incorrectly-discovered the Bitcoin mechanism, coming in and saying we must revert to how he originally coded it
= essentially using cumulative work forward — instead of cumulative work backward
— Which was a HORRIBLE mistake that would instantly destroy Bitcoin if reverted to now, making it instantly cheaply attackable
