Take a look at the demographics of some areas that are closest to true pure merit-based tech innovation, e.g.

(A) Those building open source projects outside of the workplace,

(B) Those creating new proofs in proof assistants,

(C) To a lesser degree, the top math olympiad winners — slightly less relevant here because it’s not new innovation — though still shows similar trend

Etc.

= ALL ABSOLUTELY WHITE & (NON-INDIAN) ASIAN MALE DOMINATED,

And it’s not even close

Far beyond what you’d ever imagined

NOTHING like how many of the big tech workplaces look

FWIW, surprisingly extremely few Indian males in these

So-called “white” & “asian” absolutely dominating these nearly-pure-merit-based innovation rankings

Extremely tough to face reality, but,

Vastly different demographics than what you’d likely imagine
