To put this into perspective, in July, the cost for the same shipment ~$6.50/barrel.
That's a +319% surge in shipping costs in just over 2 months.

By comparison, December has had stronger breadth, with 64.2% of S&P 500 stocks trading above their 50-day moving average.
Subsequently, January has seen the 2nd-strongest breadth, at 62.2%.
Currently, just 21.4% of S&P 500 stocks trade above their 50-day moving average, down from ~70% in mid-August, marking their lowest reading since early April.
Furthermore, on Friday, new 52-week lows on the S&P 500 outnumbered new highs for the 14th consecutive trading day.
