The people called “Aussies” were exclusively White Anglo/European Australians.
The demographic & legal reality of the time meant it applied to this distinct ethnic group of people.
Aussies remained 99% of the population until the 1970’s & were still 90% + of the population in the year 2000.
Only recently has our ethnic demographic changed & this was done against our will. We also never agreed to give up our identity, culture or nation to a foreign people.
It is only Western Nations where non-Western people with no roots or connections to our land or people self-identify as us & it’s weird.
You can be an Australian citizen but the word “Aussie” represents a distinct ethnic group of people.
The people that founded, created, built, defended & protected our people & nation.
Majority of people around the world know what an “Aussie” is.
Our identity is not a costume.
If everyone is Aussie then no one is Aussie, the word then means nothing.

2 packed jets came way too close to disaster on the ground at Sydney Airport.
A Jetstar A320 taxiing for the Gold Coast had to slam on the brakes after a Qatar Airways 777 being towed across the tarmac moved straight into its path.
Both aircraft stopped just short of each other.
A Jetstar crew member doing final checks was thrown to the floor and injured during the sudden stop.
The Qatar 777 also reportedly suffered damage to its nose wheel.
Early reports suggest the tug crew towing the Qatar jet failed to follow ATC instructions.
