THIS IS MASSIVE FOR CRYPTO

Trump has agreed to ethics rules and is now urging Democrats to work with Republicans to get the Clarity Act "over the finish line."

Once this bill passes, trillions will flow into the market.

Shiloh Trial Update, Day 4 Part 2

The defense called a Rochester Police detective who interviewed the father 10–11 days after the incident. The detective confirmed the father never once claimed he feared Shiloh Hendrix would hit his son, in fact, he never mentioned any fear of Shiloh doing anything during their entire interview.

The judge had to warn defense attorney Brian Karalus for contempt after he kept pressing the obvious point that GoFundMe is a well-known, verified fundraising platform.

Prosecutors tried to sell this as a simple open-and-shut case, claiming Hendrix’s words were β€œfighting words” and her conduct β€œdisorderly.” They insist it’s about evidence, not emotion , while shamelessly leaning on the boy’s alleged autism for sympathy.

The defense made it clear: the government is prosecuting a young woman for her language. Attorney Karalus rightly called this the result of years of cancel culture run amok in America.

There’s zero evidence Hendrix even knew what was stolen from the bag, let alone that the child was autistic. Karalus exposed how prosecutors are exploiting the boy’s condition to manipulate the jury.

The defense also hammered the father’s ever shifting story and multiple lies on the stand. In his initial police interview on May 8, he showed zero emotion and never expressed any fear that Hendrix would harm his son. Yet when he testified in front of the jury, he suddenly turned on the waterworks. He was also continually evasive and lied repeatedly when questioned about the GoFundMe that raked in $340,000.

Hendrix’s reaction was completely understandable, she was responding to the theft of her property. Yes, her words were harsh, but they don’t meet the legal standard for fighting words, and her behavior was not disorderly conduct.

The defense closed strong: Americans still have the right to speak freely without the government punishing them for it.

The six-member jury is now deliberating.

Institutional demand for Japanese government bonds surging:

Japanese insurers bought +$3.9 billion of 10+ year Japanese government bonds (JGBs) in June, the largest monthly purchase in 3 years.

This marks a sharp reversal from -$1.2 billion sold in the prior month.

This is also the 2nd consecutive monthly purchase over the last 11 months.

Insurers are one of the biggest domestic buyers of long-term JGBs, and their return could provide an important source of support for the market.

The shift comes as authorities move to strengthen domestic demand, including a proposal to allow government bonds in a tax-free investment program for individuals, and encourage large pension funds to increase allocations to Japanese assets.

Japan’s bond market may finally be finding a material source of demand.
