BREAKING: U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) carried out another round of strikes against Iran on July 8, targeting roughly 90 military sites to further weaken Tehran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The targets included air defense systems, coastal surveillance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistics infrastructure.

The strikes came one day after U.S. forces hit about 80 Iranian military targets, including more than 60 IRGC small boats, in response to Iran’s attacks on three commercial vessels despite the ceasefire. CENTCOM said U.S. forces remain fully prepared to carry out additional operations if directed.
