Never argue with a woman!

Truly masculine men don’t.

When she’s emotional, she doesn’t need another storm, She needs solid ground.

Defending yourself like a little boy on trial? That’s the weakest move.

You think you’re leading… but now there are two storms in the house.

Can someone explain to me how it’s possible that 25 year olds from 20+ years ago looked like they were already middle aged?

I mean the guy who played George Costanza in Seinfeld was 29 years old.

You can’t find a 29 year old anywhere that looks like this now.

Clifton Collins deposited another 500 $BTC($30.85M) to Coinbase Prime 12 hours ago.

Clifton Collins is an Irish drug dealer known for buying around 6,000 $BTC in 2011–2012 at an average price of about $5 per $BTC.

He printed the private keys on paper and hid them inside fishing rods.

After he was arrested on drug charges, the authorities seized his assets but were never able to recover the private keys.

After 10 years of dormancy, the wallets suddenly became active again 3 months ago, appearing to sell $BTC.

Over the past 3 months, 1,500 $BTC have been deposited to Coinbase Prime and Wintermute. The wallets still hold 4,500 $BTC($276M).

Australia's unelected eSafety commissioner has called for new powers to prevent people being ratioed.

She made the call during a Royal Commission into antisemitism and says it's to protect Jewish Australians.

She is using them as a scapegoat to protect government officials getting destroyed in the comments section. She wants platforms to suspend people who participate in ratioing others.

Absolutely insane, send help.

Japan's Immigration Services Agency has reported on a planned β€œJapanese Language and Daily Life Learning Program” for foreign residents.

Some details from media reports:

β€’it will include studying Japanese-language & "rules and manners for daily life"

β€’the Japanese language requirement has been described as "basic"

β€’the "rules and manners" will include learning about topics such as how to pay taxes and properly dispose of garbage (residents sort garbage into different categories depending on local government rules)

β€’the required standard should raise according to the length of a person’s period of residence

β€’it should be offered online

β€’it should be available to people abroad who are planning to come work in Japan

β€’after completing the basic study program, participants should be able to take more specialized courses in topics such as "childbirth and child-rearing, education, and nursing care."

β€’participation should be required for people applying for long-term visas

β€’for permanent residency and citizenship applications, the "level of understanding" should be important, rather than just participation

β€’the national government should run it, not local governments (right now, local governments bear the burden of trying to integrate foreign residents)

Japan's ruling party, which ran in recent elections promoting the idea that foreigners should follow Japan's "rules," has called for a trial launch from fiscal 2028.

It looks like Prime Minister Takaichi will be increasing immigration to Japan and trying to ease public concerns by requiring residents to take very simple online courses.

I have not seen any media reports about people who passed various levels of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) being able to opt out of the program.

Since we were kids, we’ve been told to hang out with high quality, talented ppl and avoid trash & idiots.

Same logic works for countries, particularly in international cooperation.

Like the chinese saying: "Don’t be afraid of god-like rivals, fear pig-like teammates."
