Rescuers in Venezuela are racing to pull survivors from the rubble before the "golden window" closes.
More than 28 hours on from the strongest quake to hit the country in over a century, the clock matters.
The first 48 to 72 hours are widely seen as the best shot at reaching people buried alive, with survival chances dropping fast after that without water.
Some teams work off a "rule of fours," the idea that a trapped person can last 4 minutes without air, 4 days without water, and 4 weeks without food.

Tyson supplies the chicken for tons of places but the controversy here is that they’re just chicken wings you can literally buy from the grocery store that are fried and sauced
The bigger controversy is the markup, I previously did the math I’ll include it here
I ran the numbers on Tyson wholesale chicken prices and compared it to Wingstop prices
They markup the chicken over 500%
- Wholesale Tyson chicken wings typically cost restaurants $1.50–$2.50+ per pound
- A pound of bone-in wings yields roughly 8–10 wings
- Cost to Wingstop: $0.20–$0.35 per wing that’s including sauce, seasoning and prep
- Selling price: $1.00–$1.50+ per wing, or even higher in combos
- Markup is 300–500%+ on chicken cost
You’re just paying for regular Tyson chicken wings in sauce that’s fried
You can literally make it at home and save yourself up to 500% markup
