So basically he’s saying there are 2 groups of retards:
(A) Non-drooling type: No severe mutations, and versus type-B, “appeared much brighter socially and on the playground, often being quite indistinguishable in every way from children of normal IQ except in their IQ”

(B) Drooling type: Caused by either severe physical injury or “bad mutations that can make a person extremely unintelligent”, terrible socially.
i.e., conceptually,
(A) Nature badly screwed up on this type, no real environment where this type is good at all
vs
(B) Nature intentionally made this type “waste” less energy on thinking
= i.e. why the left’s claim of “these countries could not possibly have 70 IQ, even in principle, because they’d all be drooling like these injured tards” is wrong on its face
70 IQ can appear totally competent in social situations, if they’re of type (A) instead of type (B).
My take: Yes, vastly more people are totally retarded than we realize, because many are of the non-drooling, nature just decided they couldn’t think too much types.
