NEW: Congressman Barry Moore has been "intentionally misleading" voters about his military service for years, according to a former staffer who spoke with the Daily Mail.
Senior staffers reportedly made a "deliberate decision" to avoid using "veteran" in all communications.
Moore, however, has been using the term "veteran" throughout his campaign ads for U.S. Senate in Alabama.
"Multiple former staffers said that early in his congressional tenure, senior staff took a deliberate decision to avoid the word 'veteran' in all communications β because Moore did not meet the qualifications - substituting 'former service member' instead," The Daily Mail reported.
"In a further eyebrow-raising revelation, The Daily Mail has learned that Moore was typically accompanied by veteran staffers onto military bases, as he lacked the active-duty or veteran ID card needed for independent access."
Retired Army Reserve Lt. Col. Ross Cline says Moore "turned two months of basic training into a fabricated military identity."

Global high-yield credit market stress is surging:
Investors now demand +6.4 percentage points of extra yield to hold CCC-rated global corporate bonds over BB-rated bonds, the biggest premium in 14 months.
CCC bonds sit at the lowest tier of investable corporate debt, while BB bonds represent the highest-rated segment of high-yield credit, just below investment grade.
Furthermore, CCC global corporate bond spreads are now 4.8 times wider than BB bond spreads, the biggest gap in at least 12 years, signaling a historic divergence in credit risk between the lowest and highest quality junk corporate borrowers.
By comparison, this gap stood at ~2.2 times in 2019 and ~3.2 times in 2024.
This comes as resurging drives rates higher, putting severe pressure on heavily indebted companies that loaded up on cheap debt in 2020 and 2021 when interest rates were low.
Highly leveraged companies are facing significant financial strain.

βΌ WOMAN THROWN DOWN FROM BRIDGE - FORGOT ROPE
This is probably the stupidest way to die. You pay the guys to throw you down the bridge β¦ but they are sloppy and forgot the rope. You fall to your death.
The tragic accident happened on Skeleton Bridge between Limeira and CordeirΓ³polis in the state of San Paolo.
The rope jumping instructors simply forgot to tie the rope to the ladyβs feet and threw her down from 40 meters height (130 feet).
Sad, rip lady.

Iranian hardliner Nabavian is very unhappy with the nuclear section of the new Iran deal:
"Iran keeps giving America written guarantees, but America gives nothing equal on future sanctions.
Iran explicitly committed: 'will never produce or acquire nuclear weapons,' wording pushed by the US.
All enrichment, HEU stockpiles, and even 'nuclear-related matters' (reactors, medicine, electricity) must be resolved in a final framework that satisfies America.
Stockpiles to be diluted 'under IAEA supervision and American considerations.'
These are Americaβs demands presented in the language of the Islamic Republic. Araghchi must explain this to the people."
