Today, we remember a legend.

On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.

Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.

He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.

Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.

Gone, but never forgotten.

Rest easy to a true patriot.

Forever in our hearts.

The structure of the market is experiencing a historic shift:

The number of US-listed ETFs is up to ~4,900, an all-time high, up +95% since 2020.

Over the same period, the number of US publicly listed companies has declined -1,000, or -20%, to ~3,900, the lowest this century.

As a result, there are now ~1,000 more ETFs than stocks to trade in the US market, the widest gap in history.

Meanwhile, US ETF assets under management (AUM) jumped +10% in April, to a record $14.9 trillion.

Over the last 4 years, US ETF AUM has surged +140% and now accounts for ~69% of the global ETF market.

ETFs are reshaping the foundation of financial markets.

"Hiring has grown β€œtribal,” according to Kevin Lynn of the Institute for Sound Public Policy: β€œProfessionalism doesn’t exist in these IT departments anymore… when you look at the hiring, it becomes very tribal β€” India versus the rest of the world.” Engineer Stephen Vivien described Indian H-1B workers at Google sharing interview questions to help each other. A New Jersey jury recently awarded $8.4 million against Cognizant Technology Solutions in a discrimination case involving bias against non-Indian workers."

NEW: Drag queen Pattie Gonia releases video after clothing brand Patagonia smacked the climate activist with a lawsuit.

Pattie Gonia (Wyn Wiley) says the company is trying to take his name away because he is doing "irreparable" damage to their brand.

"What they’re actually trying to do is take away my name permanently, and threaten me with more than $1 million in legal fees... This is not a brand conflict. This is a corporation trying to erase an activist."

In their lawsuit, Patagonia says they "must protect its iconic trademarks, even when it supports or agrees with Pattie Gonia’s views, message, or objectives."

"This is not a joke. this is real," Wiley said on Instagram.

It's hard not to think this is a joke when you look like that.

ALERT: Ex-billionaire who sought to have 50 children with β€œAryan” woman sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Greg Lindberg, 55, a North Carolina billionaire, spent roughly $30 million on private jets, $21 million β€œin connection with various women,” and another $12 million on yacht expenses.

Lindberg siphoned over $2 billion in an insurance fraud scheme that stole money meant for retirees and policyholders.

Lindberg would conceal the fraud with sham loans, circular transactions, and false finances.

While federal employees were investigating Lindberg, Bloomberg News found he was running a β€œbaby project” to father as many as 50 children through a network of surrogacy and egg donation centers.

Bloomberg found that Lindberg specifically pursued women with blonde hair and blue eyes that former associates described as β€œAryan.”

25 women have been tied to the operation, with some accusing Lindberg of lying to them, saying the eggs would be donated to an anonymous couple, but instead Lindberg used them for himself.

Bloomberg also found that Lindberg, a father of 12, spent a lot of money to recruit women through yacht parties, luxury events, and match-making services.

While operating these events, Lindberg would run surveillance that conducted background checks and monitor prospective romantic partners.

Lindberg sued Bloomberg for defamation, but the case was thrown out by a federal judge in Florida.

Court filings revealed bizarre personal notes about living to 120, β€œlongevity research,” and cloning.
