Germany’s domestic intelligence agency has chosen a French company over Palantir for sensitive data systems.
Berlin is said to be moving away from reliance on U.S. tech providers, citing long standing concerns over surveillance scandals, including the NSA monitoring revelations involving former Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The contract has gone to Paris based firm ChapsVision, founded in 2019, marking a major win for France’s tech sector and a setback for Palantir.
