Russian Urals oil has risen to its highest level in 13 years amid the escalation of the conflict in Iran, reports Bloomberg.

According to Argus Media, the price of Urals at the port of Primorsk reached $116.05 per barrel, and in Novorossiysk - $114.45. This is almost twice higher than the price of $59 per barrel, which was included in Russia's federal budget for 2026.

Amid the growing tensions around Iran, other types of oil are also rising in price. According to Bloomberg, a barrel of West Texas with delivery in May rose to $116.50, and Brent North Sea to $111.

The agency notes that the growth of oil revenues is easing the financial pressure on the Kremlin amid the ongoing war against Ukraine.
