We need the ability to add context to posts, like an author-written community note.
When I notice something is wrong, or more information appears about an event, I want to essentially community-note myself.
This would increase the quality of the X news community.
Most people just delete tweets in that case, to avoid being community noted, which is not good for the visibility of the actual information. People don’t notice they shared wrong information, and others keep posting the same thing without knowing it’s wrong.
