Professor David Betz, who is professor of war in the modern world at the Department of War Studies at King's College London says that many countries in Europe are close to civil war but that he believes Ireland will be the first country where it breaks out.

He says that once a civil war breaks out anywhere in Europe, it’s likely to spread to other countries in Europe too.

19-year-old Artem from Novosibirsk served with the Russian Army’s 102nd Motor Rifle Regiment of the 150th Division.

In November, he contacted Ukraine’s "I Want to Live" project for defectors and informed them that he wants to surrender and help the Ukrainian Army.

Over the next 80 days, he sent Ukraine the coordinates of Russian military positions, equipment and troop movements.
