The remains of d'Artagnan may have been discovered in the Netherlands

More than 350 years after the death of the legendary French musketeer, human remains have been found beneath the floor of a Dutch church that could belong to him.

D’Artagnan was killed during the Siege of Maastricht and was later immortalized in the works of Alexandre Dumas as a companion of the Three Musketeers.

His burial at the church had long been rumored, but no evidence had been found until now.
