BREAKING: It has been revealed the retired Air Force major general who disappeared in February shared involvement in the same program as a NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory engineer who vanished eight months prior. The individual who linked the two has since passed away.

These three individuals represented the full chain of custody for a proprietary superalloy essential to U.S. rocket propulsion systems. Monica Reza was a co-inventor of the material. Dallis Hardwick performed qualification testing on it at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).

Hardwick succumbed to cancer in 2014. In June 2025, Reza vanished while hiking in the Angeles National Forest, disappearing just thirty feet behind a hiking companion, with thermal imaging scans yielding nothing, and her scent trail abruptly ending at the location of a displaced beanie. McCasland went missing from the Sandia foothills area in February 2026. Neither has been located.

Just four days after Reza's disappearance, an online memorial post declared her deceased and buried despite no body ever being recovered.
