The head of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Abbas Arakchi, refuted reports in the Western press that he is negotiating with the White House's special representative, Steve Whitkoff.
"My last contact with Mr. Whitkoff took place before his 'employer' decided to put an end to diplomacy by launching another illegal military strike against Iran. Any claims to the contrary are likely aimed solely at misleading oil traders and the public," Arakchi wrote.
