Iran Claims 220+ U.S. Casualties in Past 24 Hours

Iran’s armed forces say more than 220 U.S. personnel were killed or wounded during attacks on American military assets across the Gulf in the past 24 hours.

According to statements from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Khatam al-Anbiya central command:

— 21 U.S. service members were killed and others wounded during strikes on the United States Fifth Fleet base in Manama.

— Around 200 U.S. personnel were killed or wounded in attacks on Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates.

— Iran also claimed it targeted a U.S. linked oil tanker in the northern Persian Gulf, saying the vessel was struck by a drone.
