US wages are barely keeping pace with inflation:
Since 2020, average weekly earnings adjusted for inflation have increased just +3.7%.
In other words, inflation has wiped out most income gains for Americans.
This comes as the costs of living in the US have significantly increased.
Since 2020, utility gas service prices have jumped +56%, electricity prices +41%, while home insurance is up +14%.
At the same time, used car and truck prices have soared +30%, while motor vehicle insurance is up +56%.
By comparison, nominal wages have risen +31.0% over the same period.
Affordability remains a major issue for American households.

BREAKING: US margin debt surged +53 billion in January, to a record $1.28 trillion.
This marks the 9th consecutive monthly increase.
YoY, margin debt jumped +$342 billion, or +36%, the biggest increase since the 2021 meme stock frenzy.
Furthermore, margin debt as a % of real disposable personal income exceeded 6.0% for the first time on record.
The percentage is now nearly 3 TIMES higher than the 2000 Dot-Com Bubble peak.
Market-cap adjusted margin debt has also hit an all-time high.
Investors are using more leverage than ever.

A giant reservoir of water has been discovered 400 miles beneath Earth's surface.
It could harbor three times the volume of water found in every ocean on Earthβs surface combined.
Yet this is no familiar liquid. It doesnβt course through hidden rivers or pool in vast underground chambers. Instead, itβs imprisoned inside ringwoodite, a mineral deep in the mantle that functions like a molecular sponge, clutching HβO within its crystal lattice under crushing pressure and searing heat.
For decades, researchers speculated about such a subterranean reservoir, but this marks the most compelling proof to date. The revelation emerged from seismic waves: subtle variations in how earthquake vibrations propagate through Earthβs interior betrayed the signature of water-saturated rock.
The finding compels a radical overhaul of Earthβs hydrologic cycle. Conventionally, we viewed nearly all planetary water as confined to the surface and shallow crust. This concealed ocean, however, unveils a far-reaching, globe-spanning circuit that may shuttle water between oceans, mantle, and perhaps even greater depths across geologic timescales.
Lead geophysicist Steve Jacobsen suggests this buried trove could explain the origins of Earthβs abundant surface water. It may also govern volcanic eruptions and the restless drift of tectonic plates.

A man named Jordan James Parke died in "unexplained" circumstances in a London hotel on Feb. 25 after he had been arrested over a botched butt lift injection he did on a 33-year-old mother who died. Parke died before he was charged. Photos of Parke:
