Market breadth is experiencing a historic improvement:
66% of S&P 500 stocks are outperforming the index year-to-date, the highest since data began in 1986.
The percentage has more than DOUBLED from the extreme concentration seen in 2023, 2024, and 2025, when only 29%, 29%, and 31% of stocks beat the index, respectively.
This is an even stronger reading than during the 2000 Dot-Com bubble burst in 2000-2002.
This means 332 of the S&P 500 members are exceeding the +0.7% YTD gain of the index.
Interestingly, Nvidia, $NVDA, is the only stock from the Magnificent 7 gaining more than the benchmark so far this year.

The Giza pyramids could be as much as 12,000 years old and built by a lost advanced civilisation, according to independent researcher António Ambrósio from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
In a paper that has not yet been peer-reviewed, he claims the pyramids were built thousands of years before ancient Egypt and were later taken over by Egyptians, who said they were tombs of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure—even though no royal mummies or burial items were found inside.
He says the pyramids’ extremely precise stonework, almost perfectly flat base and alignment with the stars show a level of engineering that later Egyptian pyramids, built between 2500 BC and 2150 BC, did not match, suggesting they were created by a forgotten “supercivilisation.”

This exceeds the April 2025 spike and any other reading over the last 12 years, excluding 2022 when the ratio reached 2.3.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested a former U.S. Air Force pilot, Maj. Gerald Brown, in Jeffersonville, IN for providing training to members of the Chinese Air Force. Former Maj. Brown retired in 1996 following a 24 year career flying multiple platforms. He most recently was a contract simulator instructor for multiple contractors on the A-10 and F-35 platforms before going to China in December 2023 to begin training the Chinese pilots
