A South Carolina woman, Dana Marie Kinlaw, was shot dead, set on fire, and left to burn inside a car on the side of the road by three Black attackers.
Kinlaw was lured to a rural area under the impression that she was buying a puppy. Iryanna Jarissa Fleming, Daquinn Taheen Thomas, and Nikko Christopher Carraway then fatally shot her before pouring a liquid over her body and setting her on fire inside the car, the sheriff’s office reported.
Officials said the murder was related to another killing 35 miles away in Darlington County and involved Kinlaw’s son, but did not share further information.

Trump's representatives secretly met with a group advocating for Alberta's independence from Canada, according to the Financial Times, citing sources.
The leaders of the "Alberta Prosperity Project", a group of far-right separatists seeking independence for the oil-rich western province, have already met with representatives of the US State Department in Washington three times since last April.
They plan to hold another meeting in February to request a $500 billion loan for an independence referendum.
"The US is extremely interested in a free and independent Alberta," APP legal counsel Jeff Rath, who attended the meetings, told the Financial Times.
Earlier, Trump suggested that Canada become a US state.
And US Treasury Secretary Bessent stated about a possible referendum on Alberta's independence.
It should be noted that most of Canada's oil is produced in Alberta, the revenues from which are distributed among other states.
