The official FreeBSD forums appear to be deleting and locking threads which mention XLibre and/or Lunduke.

One FreeBSD forum member asked, “Why it’s not allowed to openly discuss XLibre X11 server on the FreeBSD Forums?”

To which a FreeBSD moderator replied, “Our site, our rules.” and locked the thread, preventing further questions or comments.

At least one of the threads appears to have been censored after mentions of the forbidden word, “Lunduke”.

Any comment, FreeBSD?

Thanks to vermaden for the tip.

The remarkable thing about discrimination in higher ed: so much of it was documented. Approved in official records. Talked about in emails. All subject to FOIA.

Like this email, where a University of New Mexico professor just says: "I don't want to hire white men for sure."

The US is innovating at an unprecedented rate:

There are 62 technology companies in the US reporting net annual profit above $1 billion, by far the most of any country.

This is over 4 times more than in the world’s 2nd-largest economy, China, which has 15 such tech firms.

In the US, there are 21 more global tech firms than in China, Japan, Taiwan, and the Eurozone combined.

Among the world’s 10 largest companies, 8 are US technology firms.

Meanwhile, among the top 10 most innovative companies, 8 are based in the US.

US tech dominance is an understatement.

The rush for gold by central banks is unprecedented:

Unofficial gold purchases by global central banks is up to ~9,500 tonnes since 2010.

This is ~3,700 tonnes, or +64%, more than officially reported purchases by these entities.

Unofficial buying accelerated in 2022, and since then, central banks have accumulated ~3,500 tonnes of gold, or 37% of total purchases since 2010.

China alone bought 118 tonnes of gold in Q3 2025, marking a +55% YoY increase.

Money Metals estimates China's gold reserves jumped to a record 5,411 tonnes last quarter, far above the 2,304 tonnes officially reported by its central bank.

Central banks are still stocking up on gold.
