BREAKING: China’s official manufacturing PMI hit 49.2 points in November, marking its 8th consecutive monthly contraction, the longest on record.

This came in below expectations of 49.4 points.

At the same time, the non-manufacturing PMI, a measure of activity in construction and services, fell to 49.5, its first monthly contraction since December 2022.

This reading also missed expectations of 50 points.

Weakness was primarily driven by ongoing stress in the real estate and residential services sectors.

November’s figures point to continued deterioration in domestic demand in the world’s 2nd-largest economy.

Leaked footage of the IDF strike on the IRGC headquarters in Tehran during June’s Operation Rising Lion is circulating online, showing one of the most devastating attacks Israel has ever carried out inside Iran.
