Vovan & Lexus, posing as advisers to Germany’s Chancellor Merz contacted him, one introducing himself as “Adolf” and even appearing on camera dressed to resemble Adolf Hitler. Despite the obvious absurdity, Pahlavi showed no hesitation.
The fake adviser claimed Germany was prepared to join a military attack on Iran. Pahlavi welcomed the idea:
“Not only Israelis and Americans should participate. More countries should join this crusade. I’m glad Germany is taking such a tough stance.”
He also made clear how he sees his own role if the Iranian government falls:
“As soon as the regime collapses, we are ready to step in and fill the vacuum.”
