In this interview with Joe Rogan, Michael Shellenberger struggled to answer Rogan's question about fake whistleblowers flooding the UFO field. I think Rogan raises a good point about fakes poisoning the whistleblower well. This is especially the case with anonymous whistleblowers who may be genuine or fake and approach mainstream journalists who are fairly new to the phenomenon. Elon Musk is correct that many UFOs have a terrestrial explanation - highly classified craft built for the US military. The latest episode of Weaponized covered the national security implications of the release of whistleblower info about a USAP called Immaculate Constellation and the prior knowledge of George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell about this UFO data gathering program that was recently publicly announced by Michael Shellenberger.
They discussed how an upcoming Congressional hearing on November 13 is very likely going to officially announce Immaculate Constellation's existence and how this will powerfully change things on a national level.
I found it very strange that Knapp and Corbell did not feel comfortable with the ARV (Alien Reproduction Vehicle) term which they suspected was disinformation associated with a questionable UFO researcher, they were very likely alluding to Dr. Steven Greer.
Greer has been ostracized by Knapp, Corbell, David Grusch, Chris Mellon, et al., for reasons that are not very clear. It's like the hundreds of credible whistleblowers Greer interviewed since the 1990s don't really count today, and we are only to trust those validated by Knapp, Corbell, etc.
Overall, I think Knapp and Corbell have done important work in promoting UFO disclosure but they reveal their limitations when they throw shade on researchers such as Greer as his conclusions don't align with their preferred narrative that UFOs have not been successfully reverse engineered by legacy aerospace companies.
