This is an excellent analysis by Micah Hanks, writing for The Debrief, about the AARO historical report which discusses a July 1952 shoot down attempt against a flying saucer involved in the Washington DC flyovers. Part of a small flying saucer was shot off and examined by various mil/govt authorities. Hanks focuses on historical errors in analyzing the retrieved UFO by AARO and the 1969 Condon Committee. What I find intriguing is that the report supports that shoot down orders were initially issued and implemented against flying saucers before President Truman withdrew them on the advice of Albert Einstein, who warned Truman not to start an interstellar war. Two other relevant facts to consider is that prior to the 1952 flyovers, George Van Tassel was given a message from the Ashtar Command to be delivered to the USAF about developing thermonuclear weapons, which he did.
