Vandalic family c. 500 AD

The Vandals were a Germanic tribe who sacked Rome in 455 AD. They originated in Central Europe in the 3rd century BC. In 409, they crossed the Rhine River and invaded Gaul, but were defeated by the Franks. They then fled to Spain, where they remained for about 20 years. In 429, Genseric, the king of the Vandals, moved his people across the Strait of Gibraltar into Africa. He conquered Carthage in 439 and Rome in 455. The Vandals were a source of terror to the Romans, who eventually subdued them in 533

Vandals are interesting. They are archaeologically associated with the Przeworsk culture and this year a paper about Vandals and Huns Przeworks came out.
Two boys were found at the site Czulice in the Przeworsk culture. Both had artificial cranial deformations as was Hunnic custom.

One boy (sample ID czu001). was entirely Northern European and most likely a Vandal. His yDNa was I1. The other boy plots with ancient East Asian samples and was most likely a Hun. His yDNA was N-F1206

The Ertebølle culture was a culture of hunter-gatherers that lived in and around Denmark between 5300-3950 BC.

An interesting note about the Ertebølle culture from historian and documentary creator Dan Davis:

'...the Ertebølle culture did not get pottery technology from the Neolithic farmers. Instead, late Mesolithic Hunter-Gatherers spread pottery from the Volga up to the eastern Baltic, which then spread to the Ertebølle.'

The Ertebølle culture is one of few prehistoric cultures from which there's evidence of not just ritual cannibalism, but actual dietary cannibalism. The weird thing is that the Ertebølle hunter-gatherers were thriving, diet-wise, eating lots of seafood. They also had a huge population size for a hunter-gatherer culture.

The Tosks (Southern Albanians) reveal the highest Levantine & Anatolian admixture among all Albanians but also the lowest Slavic and Thracian, and viceversa for the Ghegs (Northern Albanians).

According to a full genome study by Triska et al. 2017, the Volga Tatars are primarily descended from Volga Bulgar tribes "who carried a large Finno-Ugric component"

Source: https://bmcgenomdata.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12863-017-0578-3

The Volga Tatars or simply Tatars (Tatar: татарлар, romanized: tatarlar; Russian: татары, romanized: tatary) are a Kipchak-Bulgar Turkic ethnic group native to the Volga-Ural region of western Russia.

Some more information from the Wikipedia page:

The majority of Volga Tatars (Kazan Tatars and Mishars) are usually thought to be descendants of either the Kipchaks of Golden Horde, or Bulgars, that survived the Mongol conquest of
1236-1237.

The Islamic roots of the Volga region trace back to Volga Bulgaria (922).

In September 2010, Eid al-Fitr and May 21, the day the Volga Bulgars embraced Islam, were made public holidays.

Together with Tatars, Russians have high frequencies of allele families and haplotypes characteristic of Finno-Ugric populations. This presupposes a Finno-Ugric impact on Russian and Tatar ethnogenesis...
Some aspects of HLA in Tatars appeared close to Chuvashes and Bulgarians, thus supporting the view that Tatars may be descendants of ancient Bulgars.

G. Tagirdzhanov thought that the ancestors of both Kazan Tatars and Mishars were originally from Volga Bulgaria. He proposed, that Mishars descended from the Esegel tribe.

Proto Indo Iranian influence in Seima Turbino culture people proving fact orja=Aryan
Proving fact aryans once met siberians

However, the ancestry of the 16 Seima-Turbino-period individuals—the first reported from sites with this metallurgy—was otherwise extraordinarily diverse, with partial descent from Indo-Iranian-speaking pastoralists and multiple hunter-gatherer populations from widely separated regions of Eurasia.

The Seima-Turbino culture, also Seima-Turbinsky culture or Seima-Turbino phenomenon, is a pattern of burial sites with similar bronze artifacts. Seima-Turbino is attested across northern Eurasia, particularly Siberia and Central Asia,
