Google trend map showing where word vodka is searched

Vodka is a clear distilled alcoholic beverage. Different varieties originated in Poland, Russia, and Sweden

From Russian во́дка (vódka), from вода́ (vodá, “water”) + -ка (-ka, “-let: forming diminutives”). The archaic Russian name for vodka was хле́бное вино́ (xlébnoje vinó, “grain wine”); V. Pokhlyobkin's research suggests the present name derived from expressions concerning the dilution of the initial pure distilled spirit such as "vodka of grain wine".

Cognates include Sanskrit उदक (udaka), Ancient Greek ὕδωρ (húdōr) → English hydro-, English whisky and English water.

In the genetic nationalism war about whether scythians were turks or iranics

One thing is sure this all war is about Indo european legacy of Scythians

Researchers and scholars have without doubt agree indo european ancestors of europeans originated from Caspian pontic steppe zone which is nowadays in Ukraine/Russia

So most likely original scythians were from Europe and they were genetically European
but later they became mixed in asia

There are scythian samples who score less or no turkic or bmac

However for sake of unbias let us consider mixed scythians
Those mixed scythians too had indo european dna

Indo european heritage is what define scythians

Previously we saw post about Gagauz folks being slavs in contrary to myth that they are turks however we should compare them with bulgarians autosomally

Take this analysis with grain of salt as we are using g25

Gagauz people tend to have more Thraco- Anatolian roman dna than bulgarians

Thraco-Anatolian means population mix of Thracian and Anatolian roman

Gagauz people are slightly more central asian than bulgarians

Bulgarians are more Slavic than Gagauz people

German dna breakdown

91.2% Germanic+Celtic
8.8% Balto slavic

Further deep analysis using mathematics on sample
Link:-https://justpaste.it/e1r3c
Conclusion:-
56.088% Germanic
35.112% Celtic
8.8% Balto Slavic

Guideline used for modeling ⬇️
Most present-day Germans can be modelled as three-way admixture between SGermany_EIA (54.5 ± 2%), NGermany_Roman (33.8 ± 2.5%) and a third, northeastern European source (here Latvia_BA, 11.7 ± 1.2%) representing further admixture introduced after the initial admixture event, potentially connected to Slavic-speaking populations migrating into eastern Germany during the Middle Ages54 (Supplementary Tables 4.13–14).

A model of the early ethnocultural division of the Neolithic Farmers of Europe.

One interpretation of this model posits that the pre-Indo European languages of Iberia (e.g., Proto-Basque and Iberian) were derived from the Cardial branch, while Etruscan, Rhaetian, and various pre-Indo European languages of the Balkans and Central Europe were derived from the Danubian branch. (I’m not personally persuaded by the notion that Etruscan and Rhaetian belonged to the Danubian branch absent any compelling evidence.)
