Victory has 100 fathers and defeat is an orphan.
I remember being rejected by practically every university I applied to. It felt isolating. Lonely, depressing — is it the end of the world? all for nothing?
the hours, years, a DECADE fully devoted to going to repetitor after repetitor, without questioning if that's anything you ever wanted. all for a rejection, or, worse, WAITLIST???
YES!!! — is what your inner devil shouts.
But don't let him take over you.
Is College important? absolutely. is being rejected heart-broking? No doubt.
But there are so many options still worth exploring!
I get it: you feel lonely, you feel no one cares about you.
but people do! you have friends. you have friends who have gone through the same steps: some successful, others not.
and you need to go to them. take a cup of lemon tea, somsa with premium tomato (sold in front of wiut), and open a clean sheet of paper.
WHAT DO I or WE DO NEXT? what is the next best move on the chessboard?
you cannot be swayed by emotions, public opinion, and certainly your amaki's chala consultancy.
if you want to take a gap year, make a full committment, preferably with your friend(s), and start consulting with people who already got in.
ask: I have X months left, here are my interests, what can I do in the gap year based on my goals, background, and interests?
if you want to stay in your country, that is OKAY!
dont downgrade local unis. CAU and NewUU are making great strides and are worth serious consideration.
make a decision, consult with your friends, parents, and people with experience (not age), and make the next move on the chessboard.
as for crying, id rather recommend joining our marathon running club.

Every application cycle, I work with brilliant students whose college admissions results, unfortunately, don’t reflect the effort, potential, or ambitions they and I had. And that’s an uncomfortable feeling — knowing that despite your best guidance, the outcome may not have matched the path you both hoped for.
This post is for them.
I remember every student I’ve worked with. If you’re reading this, I hope you know: this doesn’t define your worth. A prestigious college can be a powerful catalyst, but it is never a substitute for true talent. And talent — your talent — is the harder thing to come by.
The right environment can be built or found over time. But what you have within you, no one can take away. Whether or not there’s a shiny college badge next to your name, you are capable of remarkable things.

From College Admission to U.S. Visa Approved! 🎓✈️ - Alhamdullilah!
In 24th of January, I got admitted to Gettysburg college with full tuition scholarship. I’m incredibly happy to share that my U.S. student visa has been approved in 8th of April! From getting accepted into college to receiving this final green light—it’s been a journey filled with hope, hard work, and a lot of support. I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped me make this dream a reality. Mr Ulugbek, Mr Husniddin, Mr Diyorbek - my teachers and mentors — thank you for guiding me through every step: from refining my essays, preparing documents, to getting me interview-ready.
And most importantly, to my amazing parents — thank you for your endless love, sacrifices, and faith in me. Your support has been my biggest strength. I carry your dreams with me as I begin this new chapter.
With a grateful heart and big dreams ahead, Thank you all so much.
