You will never have the perfect time to start

Throughout my academic journey, I used to procrastinate most, if not all, of time. Back in 2021, I always waited for the perfect time to memorise new words, like after school where I will have 4-5 hours of free time at home. However, my parents always gave me responsibilities that were not on my to-do list. Thus, I never, ever was able to learn that 4-pages of vocabulary. I wish I could just STARTED

Time has passed, but I did not learn from my mistakes until the application cycle started.

If I remember my last summer, I had to manage everything — my College Application plan, SATs, My internship at Navoi, and so on — but I did not know when to start and where to start. Every time I complained about my poor time management to Askar, he always said to me — leave your shit, sit on a chair and just fucking start.

As I was on the edge of starting my college life at the University of Toronto, which has one of the most challenging syllabi in the world, I started thinking about evolving my math with Calculus. To be honest, I am scared as fuck. The average GPA of a CS student is somewhere around 2.2-2.5 at the University of Toronto. I have to maintain a 3.0 to not lose my Pearson Scholarship.

I was waiting for May, well, I could not start on May 1. The next thing we do is MONDAY—which is something everyone does. As the luckiest person on earth, I was kicked out of my previous apartment last evening.

The message I am trying to deliver is there will never be a perfect time to start anything. Leave your shit, sit on a chair and just fucking start.
