A man rescuing people affected by Helene with his own equipment and resources is threatened with arrest if he were to continue his efforts and they even expected him to abandon his son.

While everyone gets distracted from
Iran bombing Israel (don’t get me wrong, I know that is significant)
We just left Roan Mountain TN - This small Appalachia town is almost entirely cut off from help. Civilian effort to donate to Roan has been amazing. This small command center in Roan is feeding about 1,200 people
per day. On top of that, I sat down and spoke with two men who were rucking out food to 150 trapped families, the roads east of this town are destroyed and impassable by vehicle.
The fire department in Roan Mountain even requested my team to supply them gasoline.. Thats how major this is everyone. Search n Rescue efforts in Roan are also strictly civilian lead (for now)
The bottom line is this - Our people NEED help. They are quite literally being left behind by even the State Governments. Without civilian effort, starvation for those who survived the storm would be dire. The effort to support these communities will take months and we will be there for as long as we are needed

At this point I'm just shit posting bullshit. I found a whole ass box full of $1000 dollar total retail car parts advanced auto threw out. I'm about to up my Ebay game now. Resale perfectly good items. Make sure you check behind auto parts stores. They have labeled car parts for re use or scrap that are valuable.
